Activity Rules

The Summer Individual Trading Competition (the "activity") shall commence on 24 May 2023 00:00 UTC+8 and end on 19 June 2023 23:59 UTC+8 (the "activity period").

  1. Early bird Registration: 24 May 2023 00:00 to 28 May 2023 23:59 (5 days) UTC+8
  2. Registration: 29 May 2023 00:00 - 18 June 23:59 UTC+8
  3. Competition period: 29 May 2023 00:00 - 19 June 23:59 UTC+8

Enrolment eligibility:

  1. This activity is only open to affiliated users. Affiliated users must have registered for an OKX account using an affiliate referral code (the "Referral Code"). Users from other channels will not be eligible to participate. This activity is open to both new and existing affiliated users.
  2. Users shall at least complete KYC-1 identity authentication at www.okx.com platform.

This activity excludes residents from the following jurisdictions:

Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macau, Mainland China, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. For residents in Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam, a separate trading competition is available on this page.

Reward conditions

  1. Trading volume includes both Derivative trading and Spot trading volume during the activity period.
  2. Eligible trading volume is calculated based on trading volume generated strictly from eligible user’s own funds, excluding the use of platform rewards such as rebate card, contract voucher etc.
  3. New users and existing OKX users whose trading account equity is greater than or equal to 100 USDT at the beginning of the activity period and accumulated a minimum of 10,000 USDT trading volume will be eligible to participate and claim the following share of a specific prize pool based on the participant's position reflected on the Competition Leaderboard recorded at the end of the activity period.

Participants' ranking in the activity will be calculated based on PnL% and absolute profit amount for their respective categories.

  • PnL%= profit / (initial equity + total deposits) * 100%
  • Profit amount = [unrealized gain/loss + realized gain/loss - initial unrealized gain/loss]
  • Total transfer: USDT transferred into the Trading Account from other accounts during the activity, including spot sales.
  • Initial equity: USDT equity in the Trading Account at the start of the activity.
  • Initial realized gain/loss: if a participant has a position in a USDT contract at the start of the activity, we will record any unrealized gain/loss at the initial unrealized gain/loss.
  • 1.2x Score multiplier: New users who signed up after the activity start date at 24 May 2023 00:00 UTC+8 will be eligible for a 1.2x multiplier. The multiplier applies only to profit amount and PnL% score on the leaderboard\

Reward introduction

  1. The maximum prize pool for the PnL% and profit amount trading activity is 250,000 USDT, to be distributed according to the final leaderboard ranking. Contract Vouchers and token rewards will be distributed within 30 working days after the end of the activity period.
  2. Contract Voucher rewards shall be valid for 30 days and can be used with leverage ranging from 10x to 75x. Please refer to the rules and details provided. Users can use a 10 USDT voucher to open a position potentially valued from 100 USDT to 750 USDT with no downside to his actual account. Learn more about contract voucher here.
  3. Early bird bonus of 10 USDT contract voucher is applicable for the first 500 early registrants who fulfill asset criteria of >= 100 USDT asset in OKX account at the point of joining the activity

  7. Any and all applicable taxes and all fees and additional expenses, including connection, installation, and/or service costs, related to acceptance and use of the reward are the sole responsibility of the individual reward recipient.

The total prize pool shall be adjusted according to the number of participants who have reached the asset criteria. Detailed information on the prize pool:

  1. Qualified participants are less than 500, the prize pool will be 2,500 USDT.
  2. Qualified participants are equal to or more than 500 & less than or equal to 999, the prize pool will increase to 5,000 USDT
  3. Qualified participants are equal to or more than 1,000 & less than or equal to 1999, the prize pool will increase to 10,000 USDT
  4. Qualified participants are equal to or more than 2,000 & less than or equal to 2,999, the prize pool will increase to 20,000 USDT
  5. Qualified participants are equal to or more than 3,000 & less than or equal to 3,999, the prize pool will increase to 30,000 USDT
  6. Qualified participants are equal to or more than 4,000 & less than or equal to 4,999, the prize pool will increase to 40,000 USDT
  7. Qualified participants are equal to or more than 5,000 & less than or equal to 5,999, the prize pool will increase to 75,000 USDT
  8. Qualified participants are equal to or more than 6,000 & less than or equal to 7,999, the prize pool will increase to 90,000 USDT
  9. Qualified participants are equal to or more than 8,000 & less than or equal to 9,999, the prize pool will increase to 160,000 USDT
  10. Qualified participants are equal to or more than 10,000, the prize pool will reach the limit of 250,000 USDT
